Project 260 - June 2012

Mr. C.N. Mohanan (49 Years), Chemmanakkunnel, Kozhipilly, Palakuzha was a labourer. He had pain on his leg and found there are two blocks in his nerves, got operated at Amrutha hospital. He is living with aged parents, wife and 2 children, both of them are students. Association donated Rs. 5,000 for his treatments.
Project 261 - June 2012

Mrs. Anna Ouseph (80 Years), Aduparayil, Puthuveli, Koothattukulam is a widow. She don't have own land and not able to do any work. Both of her children where married and living with their families. Association donated Rs.3,000 for his treatments.
Project 262 - June 2012

Mr. P.K. Mohanan, Valiyaparakkal, Marika. He is suffering from Brain Tumor for the last 3 years. He also have the memory loss and not able to do any work. His wife is working in nearby houses and his son is working in a shop at Thodupuzha. His daughter is a 9th class student. Association donated Rs.5,000 for his treatments.

Mrs. Usha Chandran, Varrisseril, Karamala, is suffering from the Foiled Arthrodesis for the last 4 years. Her husband is a handicapped person. Her daughter is a Bsc. Student. Association donated Rs.5,000 for his treatments

Mr. N. Maniyappan, Kulilankal palathu, Palakuzha, is a heart patient for the last 9 years. He don't have any owned land and staying in a small house in "Thottupurampokku". His mother in law and wife is staying with him. His wife is an Astma patient. Association donated Rs.4,000 for his treatments
Project 265 - August 2012

Mrs. Shiji Biju, Nedumattathum kara, Palakuzha is widow, having two children. First child completed her +2 and second child is studying in 9th standard. Mrs. Shiji is working in nearby by homes and is the only bread winner of the family. Association donated Rs.5,000 as a financial help.
Project 266 - September 2012

Mr. P.T. Viswan, Pallickasseril, Kakkoor, was an Autoriksha driver at Kakkoor. Two months back he got pain at stomach and identified as "Carcinoma Rectum – Intestine Cancer-" He need continuous chemotherapy and other treatments. He is living with his wife and two children (12 & 10 year old) studying in 6th and 4th class respectively. He is now staying with his brother and family. Association donated Rs.5,000 for his treatments.

Mrs. Usha Mohan, Putiyakunnel, Oliyappuram is suffering from Thyroid decease. She separated with her husband who is a drunkard. They don't have any children. She is staying with her elder brother, who is a kidney patient. Association donated Rs.5,000 for his treatments.
Project 268 - September 2012

Mrs. Shyamala Mohan, Kuzhimundiyil, Koothattukulam. Her husband is a heart patient having two children. First girl got married and settled with her family. Second girl is a nursing student at Eranakulam General Hospital. Rs.6,000 was donated for the educational help for her second child sponsored by Mr. Raju Kuruvilla through Association.
Project 269 - September 2012

Mr. Byju C.U (39 Years), Kakkanattuthadathil, Edayar is a Kidney patient for last 6 years undergoing 3 dialysis in a week. Now his both kidneys are not working and need to transplant at least one urgently. He has two children studying in 7th and 4th standards respectively (both are girls). Her wife was working in a school bus, but due to his decease, she is not able to continue her job. Association donated Rs.5,000 for his treatments.
Project 270

The scheme of scholarships covering 11 aided/government schools to the best performers in 9th standard examinations started in 2003 continued during the year. The best performers in final examination held in March 2012, the school attended, percentage of marks obtained and photographs taken on the occasion of presenting scholarship are given below :

 Project 271 - October 2012
Mrs. Pennamma  (72 Years) w/o Mr. Krishnankutty Nair, Koothattukulam. She is a heart patient. She need an Angioplasty  surgery immediately, which requires more than Rs. 150,000.00. Her husband Krishnan Kutty Nair was a paper agent at Koothatukulam and met with an accident and he is bedridden now. Only one daughter is at home to take care of both parents. Association donated Rs. 15,000 for his treatments.
  Project 272 - October 2012
  Mrs. Leela Mohan, Nanthiyattu, Mytrhi Nagar, Koothattukulam; a widow broken her hand during an accident and now inserted a steel rode. So she is not able go for the work. Her daughter is working at a petrol pump and second daughter is student.  Association donated Rs.3,000 for his treatments.
  Project 273 - October 2012
   Mr. Suresh T S, Cheruveettil, Puthuveli is a hear patient done the Angiogram 2 months before and doctors suggested to do Angioplasty at the earliest. His divorced sister and their children and brothers wife also staying with them. They are having a family of 12 members now and only source of income is from his son, who is auto driver, is taking care of the entire family now. Association donated Rs.15,000 for his treatments.
  Project 274 - October 2012
Febin Saju, is  a 7th grade student at Govt. Model High School, Palakuzha. His father Mr. Saju was a sales representative. He lost his eyesight around 4 years back, has undergone for some surgery, but he doesn’t got back his sight yet. Her mother is working as a laborer. Association donated Rs.10,000 for Mr. Saju’s treatments
  Project 275 - October 2012
Mr. K M Ouseph, Kudakka parayil, Puthuveli, P.O. Koothattukulam was a laborer, due to health reasons he is not able to go for the work now. His wife is going for daily labor, is the only income of the family. His daughter is studying for Nursing at Velloor and he is seeking help for his son’s education at a polytechnic. Association donated Rs.6,000 for his treatments. This amount is sponsored by our members Mr. Anil K and Mr. Biju Skaria
  Project 276 - October 2012
Rajiv M, an 8th grade student of H.S Koothattukulam. His father died few years back. He, his mother and 5 siblings are staying with his step father Mr. Jose, who is working in a convent at Kothattukulam, but his earnings are not enough to feed the family of eight persons. 5 Children’s are students and last child is 4 years old, but not started schooling.  Association donated Rs.10,000 as a financial help.
  Project 277 - October 2012
Mr. Kunjumon, Tharayil house, Nambeli Colony was a labourer. He met with an accident at Ramapuram Junction on 23.09.2012 and the car glass hit on his left eye. At Kottayam medical collage he was undergone for a surgery and suggested to go for further treatment at Aravind Hospital, Madura. He is not able to go for work now. His wife is the only bread winner for the family now. He have 4 children, except the elder girl, all others are students. Association donated Rs.5,000 for his treatments.
  Project 278 - November 2012
Mrs. George Mathai, Pulliparambil, Marika is a kidney patient and is under treatment at Kolachery hospital. His son was a good football player, but for the last few year he is bed ridden and in unconscious condition. Only income of the family is from his wife, who is a laborer. Now Mr. George need an urget surgery.Association donated Rs.5,000 for his treatments. This amount is sponsored by our member Mr. Suresh Raghav

Mr. Thankan KK, Puthiyakunnel, Oliyappuram, Vadakara is a kidney patient for the last 2 years. His wife is a labourer and is the only bread winner of the family. His daughters are studying at 6th and 4th standards respectively. Association donated Rs.5,000 for his treatment. This amount is sponsored by our member Mr. Shibu Abraham
  Project 280 - November 2012
Mrs. Thresyamma, Aduparayil, Puthuveli (58 Year Old), is a cancer patient for the last 20 years. She is staying with her brother Mr. George. She was under treatment for these long period and undergone few surgeries. Recent pain started at her stomach and doctors suggested for 45 days radiation and she is going to Kottayam Medical collage by bus everyday for the treatement. Association donated Rs.7,500 for her treatments
  Project 281 - November 2012
Mrs. Pennamma V V, Vettichuvattil, Palakuzha, is bed ridden due to paralysis. She is staying with her daughter and son in law. Due to the condition of Pennamma, her daughter is not able to go for any work. The only bread winner is her son in law, who is a laborer. She required details check up in every 2 months. Association donated Rs.5,000 for her treatments.
  Project 282 - Home for Homeless - Elanji Panchayath - November 2012
As part of the 10th year anniversary Mega Project “Home for Homeless”, Koothattukulam Association decided to build 5 houses for poor homeless people in Koothattukulam and its 4 neighbouring panchayaths. Association built and handed over the home key for the 1st beneficiary in Elanji Panchayath, Mr. Kamalakshi, Asarikunnel, Elanji. She is a widow for the past 15 years with 3 children and staying with her elder daughter Rajamallika who is unmarried and dumb who is able to speak little now.  It was a dream for them to build a home in their own land which is now fulfilled with the help of Koothatukulam Association.
  Project 283 - Home for Homeless - Palakkuzha Panchayath - December 2012
Koothattukulam Association handed over the second home to Mrs. Suseela, Anceril, Karimpana, beneficiary of Palakkuzha Panchayath. Mrs. Suseela, whose husband left her for unknown reason and having two children. They were staying in a small tin roofed shed covered with plastic sheet and now have their own dream home.
  Project 284 - Home for Homeless - Thirumaradi Panchayath - December 2012
Mrs. Sheeja Prabhakaran is a widow for the past 10 years, a daily laborer working with margin free shop and is the sole breadwinner of her family. She is also suffering from partial blindness for one eye and was residing at her brother’s home nearby with her only 14-years daughter studying in 9th standard. Mrs. Sheeja was the 3rd beneficiary of “Home for Homeless” project from Thirumarady Panchayath.
  Project 285 - Home for Homeless - Koothattukulam Panchayath - December 2012
Association handed over the fourth home to its beneficiary from Koothattukulam Panchayath, Mr. Kunjumon, Pottikunnel from Edayar. He was a good labourer who constructed a small foundation for a home around 5 years back, but then he got headache and diagnosed as blood clotting in his head and he has memory loss also. Her son is working as a rubber tapping labourer and second one is a student.
  Project 286 - Home for Homeless - Veliyannore Panchayath - December 2012
Koothattukulam Association proudly concludes its 10th Anniversary Mega Project “Home for Homeless” by handing over the fifth and final home to its beneficiary from Veliyannore Panchayath, Mr. Jose A Mathew, Ayanickal, Puthuveli. He was a laborer, do not have a regular work and his wife is working at Sreedhareeyam and having 3 small children, who are all studying in school.
  Project 287 - January 2013
Mr. Raju (40 Years), Pallikunnel, Kakkoor was a labourer. His both Kidneys are damaged and he is undergoing for dialysis at Kolanchery Medical Collage. His wife Mrs. Mercy fall down while working and due to an accident at worksite, she is not able to go for any work now. He is living with aged mother; wife and 2 children, both of them are students. Our member Mr. Boby John contributed Rs. 5,000 through association for his treatments.
  Project 288 - January 2013 

Mr. Roy K.O, Kondadampadavil, Puthuveli, Koothattukulam was a laborer. He fall down from the roof of his home and both legs got fractured. He was under treatment for 2 months at Medical college Kottayam and is now bedridden at his home and not even able to walk. He is living with aged mother (92 years), wife and 3 children, all of them are students. Association donated Rs.5,000/- for his treatments.
  Project 289 - January 2013
 
Mr. Shaji (43 years) Erappattu, Elanji, was an electrician, now is under treatment from Indo American Hospital Vaikom for the treatment of blood clouting at his brain and now he is semi paralyzed and almost bed ridden. He and his family staying in rented house. The only income of the family is from his wife, Mrs. Sheeba, who is working as a laborer. His daughters are 4th and 2nd standard students. Association donated Rs.5,000/- for his treatments.
  Project 290 - February 2013
Mr. O.M. John, Olickal, Marika is a Diabetic and Hypertensive patient. He started dialysis at Amrutha Hospital and then continued dialysis at Santhi Medical Information Centre’s Kothamangalam unit. Since he has to travel twice a week to Kothamangalam, he approached us for our free dialysis. Association selected him as the first beneficiary for our project. His son is working as a technician at Koothattukulam Dialysis unit.
  Project 291 - February 2013
Mr. Raju (40 years), Pallikunnel, Kakkoor was a labourer. His both Kidneys are damaged and he is going undergoing for dialysis at Kolanchery Medical Collage. His wife Mrs. Mercy fall down while working and due to an accident at worksite, she is not able to go for any work now. He is living with aged mother; wife and 2 children, both of them are students. We contributed Rs. 5,000.00 for his treatments before and now selected him as the second beneficiary for our project.
  Project 292 - March 2013
Mrs. Mary Jose, Peringamalayil, Mulakkulam North, Piravom: She is undergoing dialysis with Lurd Hospital for the last one and half years hailing from a very poor family. She needs dialysis twice a week.  Association selected her as the third beneficiary for our project.

Mr. Baiju C U, Kakkanttuthadathil, Edayar: He is undergoing dialysis at PVS Hospital for the last 7 years. He is staying in a small hose at 3 cents of land. His wife is working as a school bus conductor. His children studying in 7th and 4th standard respectively. He needs 3 dialysis a week. Association selected him as the forth beneficiary for our project.
  Project 294 - March 2013
Mrs. Mary Paulose (44), Arrika Kunnel, Piramadam, Muvattupuzha was identified as a kidney patient 1 year back. She started the treatment at Kottayam Medical college and continued some Ayurvadic treatment at Thodupuzha. Then continued dialysis at St. George Hospital Muvattupuzha and PVS Hospital Eranakulam. Her husband is working as a Rubber Tapping worker and daughter is married and settled at Vengoor. Her son is a welder. Association selected him as the fifth beneficiary for our project.
